About me

My name is Linda Tandy and I am registered with Bega Valley Family Day Care Scheme.   I have my Certificate III in Childrens Services.   I hold a current First Aid Certificate.   I attend regular in-service training to remain up to date as possible on child care issues. 

Located in Bega only minutes away from the Bega CBD, I have a fully fenced secure play area at the rear of my house.   My equipment is well maintained and replaced when necessary.   I also have a large range of indoor equipment which is rotated regularly to help cater for all childrens needs and interests.  I operate under the Early Years Learning Framework with emphasis on Belonging, Being and Becoming.
 I am open 5 days a week. As a working parent, I understand the need to be available and minimise the amount of times my service is closed.  
 My aim is to provide a safe, loving, happy and comfortable environment within my home for each child.  I aim to give each child every opportunity to develop to their maximum potential through play and learning experiences that are varied and fun.
Within my home I encourage manners, honesty, respect for property, other people and self.  We all work together and have input into our weekly experiences.  I believe it is important to recognise people's feelings and differences and I encourage acceptance and open communication between all the children and their families.
